Leverage the momentum of a record-breaking campaign to shape fundraising and advancement at an exceptional liberal arts institution. In partnership with Lindauer, Connecticut College is seeking a Vice President for College Advancement, a pivotal leadership role that will shape the institution’s fundraising and engagement strategies during an exciting time of transformation. This is a remarkable opportunity for an inspiring, data-driven, and strategic leader to make a lasting impact at a nationally recognized liberal arts institution.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Lead a high-performing team of approximately 40 professionals across fundraising, alumni and parent engagement, donor stewardship, and advancement communications.
Set the strategic direction for philanthropy, building on the momentum of a record-breaking $317.5M campaign.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies to expand major and principal giving, enhance the annual fund, and deepen alumni and parent participation.
Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including the Board of Trustees, senior leaders, donors, alumni, and community partners.
Collaborate closely with the President and senior leadership to ensure alignment between fundraising priorities and the College’s broader strategic initiatives.
