Tyeshia Wilson

Tyeshia “Ty” Wilson is a spirited entrepreneur, philanthropist, and social good advocate with 15+ years of experience as a relationship manager. In 2018, she founded the Social Giving Experience, a social impact consulting agency that specializes in strategic engagement, philanthropy and events to drive social change.

Always focused on innovative ways to engage communities, Tyeshia adds her expertise in community engagement, nonprofit management, fund development, event/strategic planning, and training/ development to the Philanthropy Together team. Previously, she served the City of Dallas as the Manager of Community Engagement for the Department of Aviation where she established a new community engagement division for the City’s airports, and also served as the Assistant to the City Manager and Chief of Staff where she led initiatives to advance the City’s strategic priorities.

Tyeshia is passionate about people and service. She serves as a member of several civic organizations including the HERitage Giving Fund, one of the first African-American giving circles in Texas that serves Black-led nonprofits serving Black women and girls. She holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and a M.S. in Public Leadership with a concentration in Nonprofit and Community Leadership from the University of North Texas at Dallas.

When she is not serving others or attending social events, you can find her taking quick staycations with her husband, Jarred of 10 years or crafting with her five beautiful children.
