Description

The Farmlink Project is looking for a strategic, creative, and innovative Director of Marketing to help grow our brand, storytelling, and marketing analytics. This critical leadership role involves overseeing The Farmlink Project’s marketing team, including everything from brand to product and performance marketing. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for not only increasing The Farmlink Project’s brand awareness, but also increasing digital fundraising efforts.

The role will require that you are an expert communicator and collaborator alongside thinking outside of the box to grow The Farmlink Project’s brand. This role will report to the CEO, collaborating closely with the Head of Partnerships and Director of Development and manage 2-3 marketing and creative team members. This is a fully remote position; we are accepting applicants in all U.S. time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and plan

  • Build a marketing calendar that takes into account all of Farmlink’s digital channels

  • Build marketing campaigns that help us reach both current and new donors

  • Manage and develop the current marketing team members

  • Deeply understand donor audience and build donor segmentation and journey Implement and analyze key performance marketing metrics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage press and public relations

  • Help ensure that The Farmlink Project’s visual identity and brand message is consistent and resonates among our target audiences

Requirements

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field (preferred)

  • 8-15 years of experience in marketing or related field

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage and grow a team

  • Experience working with creative and design teams

  • Experience in non profit a plus

Salary Range and Employee Benefits

The starting salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 with a competitive benefits package. Exact compensation details will be commensurate with experience.
