Description
The Community Foundation for San Benito County seeks a bold, yet humble leader who is passionate about the role that community foundations play in a time of change and someone who can move the organization forward during what is a significant period transition for the community and the Community Foundation for San Benito County.
Responsibilities
The Central Coast of California is composed of dynamic and diverse communities. The Chief Executive Officer will work collaboratively with constituents, stakeholders, community leaders, partners, donors, fundholders, Board, and staff in a quickly evolving operating environment and rapidly changing region to ensure that everyone can prosper and reach their full potential. This individual is an effective and compelling leader who fosters vibrant teamwork, pursues quality, supports equity, and engenders mutual respect.
Requirements
Candidates will demonstrate a career path of progressive leadership and management experience in the nonprofit sector, preferably with community foundation experience. We are seeking a leader who has a proven track record of managing complex organizational dynamics with both internal and external constituents. The leader will have the ability to accept and deliver constructive feedback, while managing immediate critical opportunities for the advancement of the Community Foundation for San Benito County’s important efforts.
Salary Range and Employee Benefits
The compensation range for this position annually is between $175,000-$225,000.
A generous benefits package includes a contribution of $1,200 for medical, dental and vision, in addition to vacation, holidays and sick time off. The Community Foundation offers a 457-B retirement plan with an employer match up to 5%. The Community Foundation requires that the CEO live in San Benito County.
