Equal Pay Day for Black Women and Women of Color
This year, while Equal Pay Day is March 31st, Equal Pay Day actually varies for Women of Color.
For Black women, today, August 13th is Black Women’s Equal Pay. A Black woman earns $0.62 for every $1.00 a White man earns.
For other women of color; Latinas earn $0.54; Native women earn $0.57 and Asian women earn $0.90.*
