Fresh from the WOC Symposium

It’s hard to believe that our Virtual Symposium occurred last week! It was a marvelous day for fundraisers, philanthropists and allies to enrich their minds and to build communities. Thank you to all 300+ of you for joining us, and we know you’ll further the cause of good work and thrive in your careers with the new tools you’ve acquired.
With the conclusion of the Symposium, we’re winding down for a well-earned rest. but first, we want to share the exciting news that we first announced at our Symposium.
We’re pleased to introduce the WOC Radiant Leadership Institute, designed to prepare women of color leaders in fundraising and philanthropy for upward trajectory and expand their knowledge base, including a one-year board fellowship program.
We talk about the importance of making space at the table but before we can make space, we must also arrive at the table. It our goal to transform the board room with members of our communities who know and have worked closely to champion our causes.
The Radiant Leadership Institute is led by our illustrious Planning Committee who will guide students each step of the way!
Next, we first told you about Mentor Match and Check-in Chicas at our June launch, and coming early 2021, we are launching both programs. Be sure to complete and return your enrollment forms by December 2nd. We will be in touch with whom you’re paired with.
Finally, you may have seen our branded wares on social media. We’re delighted to announce the launch of the online WOC store! Explore our online store— from home goods to our exclusive Radiant lip gloss (moisturizing and formulated for all skin tones!) — just in time for the holidays.
As we begin to wrap up 2020, be on the lookout for future announcements. We’re just getting started and there’s no slowing down yet.
