Winsome Foderingham
Winsome Foderingham (pron.: Fod-er-ring-ham) is a strategist and connector of dots who is inspired by constantly learning. She thrives in spaces convened for idea-generation and knowledge exchange for organizational and social transformation. She utilizes her multisector and multidisciplinary experience for problem-solving and innovation in higher education administration, nonprofit management, STEM equity, women’s leadership development and issues related to work of the future. With a 25-year career in higher education (though not continuous), Winsome’s career path has taken her from international industry research (Jamaica), library operations, nonprofit management, corporate philanthropy, executive education for public-private partners and faculty, to her current position in corporate and foundation relations at the University at Albany. She has worked with hundreds of nonprofits as Community Relations Manager for Bank of America’s Charitable Foundation in New York’s Capital Region. She often speaks at conferences like the American Council on Education (ACE) New York Women’s Conference and she is presenter at UAlbany’s Nonprofit University. She also contributed to designing curriculum and programs for various women’s leadership development programs. Winsome holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Public Administration from UAlbany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.
