Description

Lead a dynamic team, manage a portfolio of up to $15 million, and advance equity-focused fundraising strategies to create lasting impact in the Greater Twin Cities. In partnership with Lindauer, the Greater Twin Cities United Way (GTCUW) is seeking a Director, Individual Giving (DIG). In this key leadership role, the DIG will oversee $15 million in revenue and lead a mission-driven team of six Gift Officers. This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned frontline fundraiser to collaborate with cross- functional teams and deepen relationships with major and principal gift donors.


Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement the annual work plan and team goals.

  • Manage a personal portfolio with a $500,000 goal and contribute to a development team revenue target of $30 million.

  • Coach and lead a team of six, including Principal Giving Officers, Senior Donor Advisors, and a Planned Giving Officer.

  • Drive donor engagement with a focus on securing six-figure gifts and overseeing the qualification of new prospects.

  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders, including corporate partners, community leaders, and the Board of Directors.

  • Support GTCUW’s $60 million innovation campaign, leveraging new opportunities for community impact.
