Description
The Digital Fundraising Specialist executes Project HOPE’s integrated digital fundraising and donor stewardship strategy across digital channels, including email, paid social, paid search, digital media, texting, and the Project HOPE website. They also serve as a partner for website and organic social fundraising content by working effectively in a matrixed digital environment.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Fundraising, they help grow the digital constituent base through acquisition and lead generation, optimization of digital donor journeys, and engaging audiences effectively, helping them build long-lasting relationships with the organization.
Responsibilities
Work with the Associate Director, Digital Fundraising to meet digital revenue goals through the development, testing, execution, and analysis of multi-channel digital fundraising campaigns across website, email, paid ads, SMS, and emerging channels; analyze results and monitor KPIs to ensure ROI.
Help develop assets for digital fundraising and engagement campaigns, including messaging, offers, video, shareables, donation pages, and more, in partnership with internal teams and external partners.
Help manage the testing, creation, and optimization of donation pages, audience targeting, and user experiences across online channels to continually improve the digital donor experience.
Manage approval process for digital strategies, creative, production, Q&A, coding and invoices, compiling and providing feedback to team members, writers, agencies and vendors.
Execute the digital emergency fundraising strategy and communication with external agencies and internal teams.
Support strategies to increase online sustainer and mid-level program growth, engagement, retention, and recapture, with close support and integration across channels.
Collaborate across teams to ensure campaign alignment and integration, including but not limited to other fundraising channels, communication plans, major giving, brand marketing, workplace giving/cause marketing, and advocacy engagement.
Manage the digital acknowledgment and welcome stream and experience for key audiences. Serve as point of contact for Project HOPE’s eCRM and front-and-back-end operations as it relates to payment processing, donation forms, and other technical capacities.
Stay abreast of trends and upcoming opportunities within digital marketing and fundraising.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/S in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of digital fundraising and marketing experience, with a focus on executing email and paid digital marketing campaigns.
Comfortable launching rapid response digital campaigns, especially during global disasters, including during non-traditional working hours with very tight turn-around times.
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on
Proven ability to prioritize, work independently in partnership with teams, manage time effectively, and follow through on tasks/responsibilities.
Experience and expertise with professional communications/interactions; Ability to build relationships remotely.
A high attention to detail and organization, with proven success in management of competing priorities and deadlines.
Strong communication skills, written and oral, as well as proofreading.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with email service providers and online fundraising systems (we use Luminate), and website content management systems (we use WordPress) strongly preferred.
Experience with international relief or global health sectors.
Experience with email best practices.
