Nancy Yao Maasbach has served as the President of the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) since 2015. Nancy is also a lecturer on governance at the Yale School of Drama and serves on the McGraw Hill Equity Advisory Board. Prior to her time at MOCA, Nancy was the executive director of the Yale-China Association, one of the oldest non-profit organizations dedicated to building U.S.-China grassroots relations. Nancy has over 20 years of leadership experience at not-for-profit organizations, including staff and board positions at the Tessitura Network, the Council on Foreign Relations, The Community Fund for Women & Girls, and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. In the corporate sector, Nancy worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co., the Center for Finance and Research Analysis, and CNN. Nancy received her MBA from the Yale School of Management and her AB from Occidental College. She currently serves as an independent director for several Aberdeen Standard Investments-managed closed end funds. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Nancy was born and raised in Flushing, NY and has lived in Chinatown, NY, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Taipei. She is a former CFR-Hitachi International Affairs Fellow in Japan.
