Luke is a member of the UN Women USA Board of Directors and President Emeritus, Senior Advisor to UN Women USA NY board. She is Vice President of PowHerNY, a coalition promoting gender and racial justice in New York State; Co-chair of NYC4CEDAW Act; Advisor to Women of Color (WOC) in Fundraising and Philanthropy; member of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF), Asian Women Giving Circle. She was a member of the Consultation Day, and Women of Distinction committees for the NGO-CSW64 in 2019.

Marsha Morgan, Chair of the Community Investment Network

Marsha Morgan, Chair of the Community Investment Network

Service has always been a way of life for Marsha Morgan. She is one of the founding members of the Birmingham Change Fund, a giving circle founded in 2004. Currently, she serves as the Chair of the Community Investment Network, a national network of 19 giving circles impacting African Americans and communities of color. Members of the Community Investment Network believe in leveraging their resources of time, talent, treasure, and testimony to create change in their local communities. One of the most recent highlights of Marsha’s journey has included serving as a member of the Co-Design Team to strengthen and grow American giving circles. Philanthropy Together, launched in the Spring of 2020, was a collaborative effort between 5 giving circle networks to supply much-needed resources to organizations, communities, and causes often overlooked and neglected. Marsha is a member of several local civic and professional organizations, including the Birmingham Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Tennessee State University Alumni Chapter. The Engineering Council of Birmingham has recognized her for outstanding work in support of the Birmingham Change Fund, National Society of Black Engineers, Oasis Counseling Center for Women and Children, Ramsay High School Engineering Academy.

Marsha has a background in engineering and project management, with nearly 20 years of energy industry experience. She is an avid reader, loves to travel, enjoys connecting with new people, and championing great causes.

Tyeshia “Ty” Wilson is a spirited entrepreneur, philanthropist, and social good advocate with 15+ years of experience as a relationship manager. In 2018, she founded the Social Giving Experience, a social impact consulting agency that specializes in strategic engagement, philanthropy and events to drive social change.

Always focused on innovative ways to engage communities, Tyeshia adds her expertise in community engagement, nonprofit management, fund development, event/strategic planning, and training/ development to the Philanthropy Together team. Previously, she served the City of Dallas as the Manager of Community Engagement for the Department of Aviation where she established a new community engagement division for the City’s airports, and also served as the Assistant to the City Manager and Chief of Staff where she led initiatives to advance the City’s strategic priorities.

Tyeshia is passionate about people and service. She serves as a member of several civic organizations including the HERitage Giving Fund, one of the first African-American giving circles in Texas that serves Black-led nonprofits serving Black women and girls. She holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and a M.S. in Public Leadership with a concentration in Nonprofit and Community Leadership from the University of North Texas at Dallas.

When she is not serving others or attending social events, you can find her taking quick staycations with her husband, Jarred of 10 years or crafting with her five beautiful children.

With a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector, Yolanda F. Johnson has successfully led fundraising operations for a wide range of nonprofit organizations, launching creative event, sponsorship and marketing initiatives that produced new streams of both contributed and earned income. Her fundraising expertise includes securing foundation, corporate, and government funding and cultivating a diverse major gifts portfolio.
