April Hannah
As a Life & Leadership Coach, April Hannah is on a mission to help women connect with a life worthy of their full potential and purpose by releasing limiting beliefs and embracing their truest selves. These women are building successful careers, thriving businesses and fulfilling relationships – creating a positive impact in the world. April began her private coaching practice in 2018. As a certified coach, April has supported BIPOC female founders to scale with a goal of gaining venture capital backing inside the tech startup incubator, digitalundivided; co-lead a team-building retreat for Genius Guild; coached a group of Yale University professors in one-on-one and group settings during COVID isolation to foster community building and collaboration; and provided one-on-one support to early career, BIPOC women within the ACLU.
In addition to coaching, April is a practicing artist and designer. As an artist, she creates large abstract paintings which have been exhibited in solo and group shows in galleries, museums, university galleries, and non-profit art spaces nationwide. In 2010, April was awarded an Artist Studios Residency at MAD Museum (Museum of Arts and Design) in NYC. As a designer, April enjoyed a ten-year stint as a creative director at a design agency; followed by a creative directorship at the Girl Scouts of Greater New York and many freelance projects for New York City nonprofits and small businesses. April has also crafted an award-winning children’s furniture collection and continues to design furniture and houseware objects. Her work has received recognition in both national and international publications.
